Dear friends,

I am hearing many say, “All is well- the right people are back in office.” While I certainly am pleased with the “change in direction,” it is frightening to me that we place our hope there.

Now is the time for US to take action. Culture is not shaped at the national level, certainly not at the White House level. Rather, it is- The “Long March through the Institutions” a phrase attributed to the Italian communist Antonio Gramsci (1891-1937) where lasting change is made. The Marxists have implemented their game plan quite well, sadly.

We have to spend the time, energy and cost to take a deep dive into how life is being done in our our cities, our counties and our states. But even before that, in our homes. Are we sure that our ideas for the good life, the biblical life, are rooted in scripture? How can we know?

Enter the PEERS Test. PEERS, in use for 35+ years with Christian high schools and universities shows where our thinking is biblically based and where not. Then take the full 70-item test, about 20 minutes of your time. See where your ideas are based on sound biblical principles and where not. The test comes with Position Papers to help rethink those items which the test says you “missed.”

Individual PEERS® Testing

PEERS is a worldview assessment requiring about 20 minutes of your time. It reveals the basic principles a person holds about the how the world should work in five key areas of life: Politics, Economics, Education, Religion and Social Issues (PEERS). PEERS has been used over the past 35 years by over 125,000 students and adults in over 1,000 Christian schools.

Group PEERS Testing

Group testing is for two or more individuals from same organization, church, school, ministry. One person is designated as Proctor who sets up the testing session. Each person receives a confidential Scorecard; several group summary reports are available for the Proctor to run.

PILLARS Course

While PEERS will reveal areas that may need “rethinking,” PILLARS is a course providing scripture-based instruction on the PEERS categories. We must look deeper to truly understand the way the world is supposed to work. The course is available on our Store. It is a fascinating read for independent study or group studies. But, it is important to take the PEERS test first!

Sample PEERS Test

The below statements are representative of the type of issues addressed on the PEERS Test. Two of the below are in agreement with biblical principles and three are not. Four of the five have Position Papers (included with the test) providing biblical support for Agreeing or Disagreeing.

Each correct answer is worth 20 points. Each incorrect answer is worth -20 points. The range of this sample test is -100 points for 5 incorrect answers and 100 points for 5 correct answers.

2. Individuals should be allowed to conduct life as they choose as long as it does not interfere with the lives of others.

4. Civil government, at both the state and federal levels, should not have responsibility for the economic well-being of the citizens.
5. Government should rest as directly as possible on the will of the people.
